Be Part of Something Bigger
Volunteer with Hillingdon Vision Media Trust
At Hillingdon Vision (CIC), we work closely with Hillingdon Vision Media Trust (CIO) to support volunteering across our programmes. All charitable volunteering and educational opportunities are managed and overseen by the CIO, while CIC is contracted to facilitate and deliver these programmes.
How Volunteering Works
Charitable Volunteering:
-
All opportunities to support charities, community groups, workshops, clubs, or media projects are approved and coordinated by the CIO. CIC delivers these services under contract, but the CIO retains full control over eligibility and volunteer management.
Commercial Volunteering:
-
When CIO volunteers work on commercial CIC operations, an agreed fee for their time is paid to the CIO.
-
Training & Work Experience: Volunteers taking part in on-the-job training, work experience, or course-related programmes are not paid, as CIC is already contracted to deliver these activities.
Non-Commercial Activities:
-
Volunteers helping with internal or charitable work (for example, newspaper articles or community projects) are not paid, as no commercial revenue is involved.
